So much happens, developmentally, in the lives of young children. They begin reading on their own, learning more advanced concepts and problem solving. At the same time, they begin facing some of the challenges of growing up and learning how to build healthy relationships with others. All these changes create a crucial opportunity to develop a strong foundation built upon their relationship with Jesus. Our aim is to empower kids to live out an active and vibrant life in Jesus. We seek to plant the seeds that will enable them to take ownership of their faith as they grow older and discover their unique gifts and strengths.
Sunday School Classes are held from 9:30am-10:30am. Our wonderful Sunday School teachers teach kids important and memorable Bible stories that help them better know the heart of God and who He created us to be. Through songs and fun activities, children learn scripture, learn how to pray, and how to apply the teachings of Jesus to their daily lives. All children's classrooms (preschool - 5th grade) meet downstairs in our Children's Church area.
Children's Church Children are dismissed after the worship in singing on Sunday morning (10:30am) to go to Children's Church. In Children's Church, they enjoy a snack and a video based curriculum that engages their eyes, ears, and hearts. The lesson is discussed and often reinforced through a craft or memorable activity.
